• God gives power to Adam
  • power to serve and steward
  • Adam and Eve (blood of my blood and flesh of my flesh)
  • Post fall - you shall rule over her, and she shall desire after you
• Satan steals and distorts power
• Jesus comes to model “restorative power.”
• The Holy Spirit leadership empowers us to bring restorative leadership
• Worldly leadership = creates a power differential
  • widening the gap between the powerful and powerless
• Spiritual leadership = diminishes the power differential
  • lessening the gap between the powerful and powerless through love, service, and stewardship
